The future of Acura's TSX appears uncertain as Honda Motor prepares to abandon the platform used for the compact sedan. Acura boss Jeff Conrad says the TSX will remain in the lineup "for the foreseeable future." But when Acura moved into the entry-luxury segment with the ILX last year it jammed up its sedan lineup -- both in terms of vehicle sizes and pricing ladders. The ILX and aging TSX are positioned close to each other, as are the TSX and mid-sized TL.

The new Mercedes-Benz AMG Vision Gran Turismo imagines how a super sports car could look in future - think the SLS redrawn for 2020. Finished in a stunning, classic Merc liquid silver paint job, the long dimensions of the Merc Gran Turismo are cartoon exaggerated and all the better for it.
The next Mercedes-Benz SL coupes will get more power, less weight and a few neat tricks, including features named Magic Vision Control and FrontBass. We'll get our first look at the new car at the Detroit auto show in January. A few journalists were invited to take a sneak peak at the car during the Los Angeles auto show, but pictures and video weren't allowed.
